We are currently seeking reliable, hardworking Packing Operative to help ensure our high-quality kitchen products are carefully prepared and packaged for delivery. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with great attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Packing Operative Benefits:
- Shift: Day Shift - Monday to Thursday 08:00am - 16:30pm & Friday's 08:00am - 15:30pm
- Rate of Pay: 12.92 per hour
- Hours: 39 hours per week paid weekly
- Start date: ASAP - please do not apply if you have a holiday booked in the next 12 weeks as this is the crucial training period
- Contract: Temporary to Permanent
- Location: Rotherham
Packing Operative Duties:
- Carefully packing kitchen units, doors, and accessories for safe delivery
- Quality checking products to ensure they meet organisational standards
- Labelling and wrapping goods accurately
- Working efficiently to meet daily targets and deadlines
- Keeping your work area clean, organised, and safe
- Following all health and safety guidelines
- Working on your own and as part of a team
- Minimum daily requirements (production targets)
Packing Operative Criteria:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or packing role is essential
- Good physical fitness as this is a manual role
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions
- Good work ethic and prepared to learn new skills
**Please note this is a very physically demanding role and requires regular manual handling as part of the day to day duties**
