GI Group are now seeking a dedicated and dynamic Work Based Learning Lead- Construction for our Public Sector client. Leading the delivery of apprenticeship standards within the Construction sector and other relevant provisions. In this pivotal role, you will inspire and support learners by delivering outstanding education and training that equips them with the skills needed to achieve their full potential. With a focus on excellence and innovation, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of programs, ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet both learner and employer needs. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact by shaping the future workforce in the construction industry.


Duties:
* Coordinate and lead on the apprenticeship provision for the construction apprentices.
* Ensure that our apprentices receive a high-quality service and make excellent progress.
* Line manage staff within your area.
* Lead the quality assurance process for your subject specialism and oversee awarding body compliance for all other areas within your responsibility.
* Commitment to ensuring all learners succeed and have a positive, meaningful educational experience.
* Champion innovation in curriculum design through close alignment with employer needs.


Qualifications & experience:
* Proven experience in high-quality assessing/teaching within apprenticeships, ideally within the Construction sector.
* Possession of a Level 3 or above qualification in a vocationally relevant subject.
* Assessor's award (TAQA/A1) is essential.

* Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in English and Maths, or willingness to undertake it as part of the role.
* Strong understanding of sequencing quality apprenticeship delivery and quality assurance to ensure excellent outcomes for apprentices.
* Familiarity with FE (Further Education) and Apprenticeship Standards, including the ability to lead a team on programme design and delivery.
* IQA qualification is desirable (support to obtain this may be provided upon starting the role).
* Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in English and Maths, or willingness to undertake it as part of the role.
* Proven experience in high-quality assessing/teaching within apprenticeships, ideally within the Construction sector.
