Talent Acquisition Specialist
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead and deliver end-to-end recruitment across the business. The successful candidate will design recruitment strategies, manage talent pipelines, support workforce planning initiatives and enhance the overall candidate and hiring manager experience. This is a strategic, proactive and solutions-focused role requiring strong stakeholder management and in-depth recruitment expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing through to offer negotiation and onboarding.
Partner with hiring managers to develop job briefs, create tailored attraction strategies and advise on market insights.
Drive proactive sourcing strategies to build pipelines for future vacancies.
Screen candidates, conduct competency-based interviews, and support managers in selection and assessment.
Develop recruitment processes that improve efficiency, reduce time-to-hire and strengthen quality of hire.
Produce recruitment metrics, talent pipeline reports and workforce planning insights.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
Lead on employer branding initiatives, job advert creation and candidate experience improvements.
Build relationships with external partners, agencies and stakeholders to widen talent pools.
Support and develop onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new starters.
Identify recruitment challenges and propose strategic solutions.
Support early careers, succession planning and emerging talent programmes.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven in-house recruitment experience at specialist level.
Strong stakeholder engagement across all levels of a business.
Experience designing and delivering recruitment strategies.
Skilled in screening, interviewing, selection and negotiation.
Ability to analyse data, produce insights and track recruitment KPIs.
Excellent understanding of employment legislation and recruitment compliance.
Highly organised with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience improving processes and implementing new recruitment initiatives.
Part time, circa 24 hours per week
