Cleaner (6am-9am Mon-Fri)

Salary: 15 per hour

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Rotherham.

Role Purpose

Ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Support the overall health and well-being of the community through high standards of cleanliness.
Contribute to a positive learning environment by maintaining cleanliness in all assigned areas.

Key Responsibilities

Clean classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets, and communal areas to a high standard.
Carry out daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and emptying bins.
Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
Report any maintenance or health and safety concerns to the appropriate staff.
Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and appropriately, following health and safety guidelines.
Ensure that all cleaning duties are carried out in line with the institution's policies and procedures.
Lock and unlock designated areas as required.

Requirements

Previous cleaning experience
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Understanding of health and safety and COSHH regulations (training can be provided).
Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Trustworthy, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
Right to work in the UK.
