Day to Day of the RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide tailored support to children with a range of special educational needs, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
- Work closely with a dedicated team to implement educational plans that cater to individual needs.
- Engage with children in a variety of educational activities that enhance their learning and social skills.
- Monitor and support the children's progress, adapting techniques to suit their developmental needs.
- Create a nurturing and safe environment that fosters learning and development.
- Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role with transferable skills, specifically within an SEN setting.
- A strong, confident approach and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.
- Must possess a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff, children, and parents.
