Sales Estimator

Due to continued growth our client is now in a position to recruit a sales estimator. This vacancy is working with current customers dealing with all inbound enquiries. You will be raising quotations from cad drawings. Working closely with the manager, the ideal candidate will be highly motivated and able to provide technical support to customers developing a trusted relationship enhancing the company’s experience.
Role requirements
- Qualifying customer requirements & identifying the appropriate product to offer.
- Processing enquiries via an in-house database.
- Generating enquiries on to production facilities & sub-contractors.
- Monitoring & progressing open RFQ’s, to ensure that SLAs are achieved.
- Liaise with Sales Team for commercial decisions.
- Generating quotations from cad drawings.
- Providing product support to colleagues & customers.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a technical support position would be a distinct advantage
- Previous experience working with CAD
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure would be an advantage
- Self-motivated, positive, proactive, enthusiastic and a strong team player
- Ability to communicate, listen, influence and liaise with prospects from various backgrounds and at all levels
- Willingness to be trained in new techniques and skills
Hours/Benefits:
- Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm
