Inspire are recruitingFinance Manager to oversee transactional finance, ensure robust compliance, and deliver accurate management reporting within a high-precision manufacturing business. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to drive process improvements and support strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Lead and support transactional finance staff, resolving queries and improving processes.

• Monitor company spend and identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Produce weekly KPIs, management reports and spend analysis.

• Manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.

• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

• Prepare management accounts to strict deadlines.

• Support audits and statutory reporting, including VAT and Corporation Tax returns.

• Administer bank accounts and company credit cards.

• Maintain fixed asset and tooling registers.

• Assist with payroll and cross-departmental financial input.

About You

• CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified (or equivalent).

• Proven experience in SME finance management, including period-end reporting.

• Strong technical accounting skills with a good understanding of UK GAAP.

• Advanced Excel and proficiency in accounting systems.

• Detail-focused, process-drivenand able to meet tight deadlines.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
