Recruiting for a Workshop Supervisorto join our fantastic team in Rotherham (S60 2XL), to oversee the running of the4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Crossroads Truck & Bus Ltd is the Volvo Truck and Bus specialists across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. We provide a total transport solution for the industry, from new trucks to used trucks, and parts and servicing for trucks, buses and trailers.

The Workshop Supervisor Role
- To assist the Service Manager in liaising between service reception and the workshop on repair.
- To ensure that the right technician has been allocated the right job.
- To control and monitor the progress of the repair / service through to completion.
- Ensure high levels of quality are maintained on all work produced by the service department.
- Ensure that all service paperwork is completed to a high standard.
- To maintain excellent customer satisfaction and MOT standards.

The successful candidate would be responsible for ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction, ensuring that individual technician performance is optimised, and work is progressed through the workshop in an efficient manner with the aim of first time fix every time.

Requirements
- Qualifications required City & Guilds part 1 & 2 / BTEC / IMI (or equivalent) in motor
vehicle management or equivalent practical experience in the commercial vehicle industry.
- Commercial experience within a workshop environment (orsimilar environment).
- HGV Licence advantageous but not essential.
- Able to work on own initiative.
- Extremely well organised.
- Able to prioritise effectively.
- Computer skills advantageous.
- Able to problem solve.
- A good communicator.
