Graduate Logistics Planner – Transport and Planning (Thurnscoe, Rotherham | £35,000 | ekeg Limited)
Are you a graduate with practical experience in logistics, transport, or planning? ekeg, the UK and Ireland’s leading keg and cask management business, is looking for a Graduate Logistics Planner to join our operations team in Thurnscoe.
We work with over 600 breweries and cider producers, managing more than 1 million kegs and casks each year, delivering and collecting containers efficiently across the UK and Ireland.
About the Role
As a Graduate Logistics Planner, you will coordinate daily vehicle routes, ensure smooth stock movement across sites, and support drivers and depots with real-time problem-solving.
This role is suitable for graduates who have gained practical experience in logistics, transport, or planning through an industrial placement, internship, or 1–2 years’ professional experience. You will manage data using planning systems, liaise with operational teams, and help ensure deliveries and returns run efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and schedule daily deliveries, returns, and vehicle routes

Communicate with drivers, depots, and customers to ensure smooth operations

Maintain accurate stock and container records using tracking systems

Support process improvements and operational efficiency

Ensure health, safety, and compliance standards are met
About You

Graduate with practical experience in logistics, transport, or planning coordination (industrial placement, internship, or up to 2 years’ experience)

Confident using Excel and willing to learn new planning systems

Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in solving problems

Strong communicator and team player

Full UK driving licence required

Experience in a similar industry or placement is highly advantageous
