About the Role

Education Assets is recruiting on behalf of a lovely, well-established nursery in Wath-upon-Dearne, Rotherham, for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Practitioner.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, professional team who are passionate about providing exceptional care and learning experiences for children aged 0–5 years. You will help create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and review fun, creative, and engaging activities following the EYFS framework.

  • Provide high standards of care, learning, and play for all children.

  • Observe, assess, and record each child’s development and progress.

  • Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.

  • Follow all safeguarding, health, and safety procedures.

  • Contribute positively to a supportive, collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Early Years / Childcare is essential.

  • Experience working in an early years setting (preferred).

  • Sound understanding of the EYFS and child development.

  • Enthusiastic, caring, and committed to delivering high-quality childcare.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Must hold an Enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one before starting the role.
