Our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team and cover Social Housing refurbishment contracts across the South Yorkshire area. This role is pivotal in managing costs effectively, maintaining quality, ensuing projects are delivered on time and within budget.

They have a large presence within the Social Housing sector, specialising in both new build housing and refurbishments of existing housing stock.

Description

  • Prepare and manage accurate project budgets and cost plans
  • Liaise closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Manage the tendering and procurement process
  • Monitor and control project variations and valuations
  • Prepare interim and final accounts
  • Provide cost advice and financial reporting throughout project life cycles
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards

Profile

  • Degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
  • Proven experience in housing refurbishment, preferably in the social housing sector
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • A proactive and solutions-driven approach
  • Full UK Driving License
