Job Title: English Teacher (Maternity Cover)

We're seeking a passionate and committed English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Rotherham from January 2026 through to the end of the academic year. This role is to cover a maternity leave and offers the chance to make a real impact in a supportive school environment.
The role:
Deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Support students in developing confidence in both written and spoken English.
Prepare learners for key assessments and exams, inspiring them to achieve their best.
Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom culture where every student can thrive.
What we're looking for:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas qualification.
A teacher with strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management, and a genuine passion for English.
Someone who can bring creativity and energy into lessons, encouraging students to enjoy and succeed in the subject.
