Care Home Domestic Assistant

Mellors Care are supporting a Rotherham-based Residential Care Home in their search for a Domestic Assistant to support in maintaining the high standards of the home.

The role will involve maintaining cleanliness and hygeine throughout the service, this will include turning down beds, deep cleaning bedrooms, adhering to hygeine health and safety prcoedures and following COSSH policies. Other duties will include:

• Laundry
• Cleaning and presentation of communal areas
• working within a team
• Interacting with service user's and providing them with a positive experience wherever possible
• Playing a part in providing an excellent standard of care and daily life for those living in the home

The role will be contracted for 30 hours per week, working over five days 8am - 2pm, with every other weekend off. The succesful candidate will have professional cleaning experience. Experience working within a health and social care setting is desirable.
