Do you have the experience and skill set for the role of a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant? This amazing opportunity has arrived and will enquire you to have unique skill set and to be passionate and hard working. We are looking for SEN TA to work with a child in a lovely supportive primary school.
Details:
The student is Year 6 and loves sports (Football, basketball). Having a sporty background will help you build rapport with the student.
We have trial days week commencing Monday 16th December through to Friday 20th December and the successful candidate will then start 6th January for 1 year with potential to a permanent contract. The trial's for next week will be for either half a day or a full day dependent on which you prefer.
To be considered for this role you will need to:
- SEN pupils are likely to take longer than other pupils to understand something or complete a task. To have patience is essential
- An up to date Enhanced DBS, preferably on the update service - Or willing to get one through ourselfs.
- Have excellent verbal and written skills.
- Be confident in managing challenging behaviours.
- Adaptable and nurturing with a positive demeanour.
- The ability to maintain effective and trusting relationships.
- Always remaining positive and giving plenty of praise
