Are you a skilled Toolroom professional looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Our client is seeking a Mould Shop Repairer to join their team in Rotherham, where you'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of mould equipment essential to production.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Repairing mould equipment to precise specifications, including:
- Mould cavities
- Blank cavities
- Neck ring and baffle matching
- Modifying equipment to improve production efficiency
- Recording all repair work accurately
- Ensuring a continuous supply of equipment for production
- Locating and retrieving mould equipment from storage and factory areas
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Communicating effectively with the Mould Shop Manager
- Blasting mould and neck equipment as required
- Providing correct spare equipment for machines
- Supporting General Operatives when needed
- Covering during holidays and sickness
- Performing other reasonable duties within your skill set
Skills & Experience:
- Previous Toolroom experience (e.g. bench fitting)
- Apprenticeship trained in Toolroom work (preferred)
- FLT licence (desirable)
