Position: Welder/Fabricator
Location: Rotherham
Employment Type: Temp to Perm
Salary: 14 - 16 per hour
The Role
Adept Resourcing Engineering are recruiting for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a busy and well established engineering business in Rotherham. This role offers the chance to work on a wide variety of fabrication and welding projects, including pressure vessels, pipework, and general steel work.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, mark out, fabricate, tack and weld jobs as instructed
Work confidently from engineering drawings, following written and verbal instructions
Carry out welding using MIG/TIG
Operate workshop equipment including cranes, band saws, drills, grinders, plasma cutters, paint spraying tools, and hydraulic testing equipment
Assemble and finish products to the highest standards in a professional and safe manner
Pack and label finished products for delivery
Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
Occasionally work on client sites or stay away when required
Requirements
Proven welding/fabrication experience within a workshop environment
Competent in MIG welding
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work
Reliable, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and nights when required
Desirable Experience
Working with pressure vessels and pipe fabrication
Use of manipulators, turntables, rotators, and hydraulic testing equipment
