Role: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Harlow
Salary: £46,900 + Overtime (Premium Rates)
Shifts: Afternoon Shift

Due to their continued growth, they now have a need for the afternoon shift to be supported from a Maintenance perspective, you’d get full onboarding and training from Engineers that have been with the business for 20 years plus meaning that when you do move onto the shift that you’ll be fully prepared to tackle any challenges the machines throw at you.
This business trusts its Engineers, you’ll have autonomy and freedom within the role to make some serious improvements to the machinery and site in general!
The Role:
The Role of Maintenance Engineer will include the following responsibilities:
- Reactive Maintenance on all of the automated production machinery including conveyors, ovens, mixers, pumps and more!
- Following a Pre-Planned-Maintenance (PPM) system where you’ll be doing visual inspections, checking mechanical and electrical parts, lubrication and greasing
- Freedom to make improvements to the site – If you have CI ideas they aren’t going to stop you from working on your own projects – in fact they strongly encourage it!
- Swapping like for like electrically with: Sensors, Relays, Contactors, Invertors, Three Phase Motors, Drives, Power Supplies,
- Mechanically working with: Gearboxes, Shafts, Rollers, Belts, Pulleys, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Bearings
- Working within a tight knit team of Engineers that all get on and help support each other
The Candidate:
The Right Candidate for the role of Maintenance Engineer will have/be:
- A recognised Electrical Engineering Qualification
- Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a factory setting
- Be confident working Mechanically and Electrically, Fault Finding and coming up with solutions to problems that occur day to day
- Be happy working within a small team of Maintenance Engineers that work together
- Be confident in working alone when needs be
