Inventory Controller

An opportunity to join our Global Leading client and bring your expertise in Stores to take ownership of all stock activity within their Manufacturing Environment. Being an all-rounder, you will be managing stock movement, purchasing, data inputting along with picking/packing orders.

Location: Royston, Hertfordshire

Hours: 09:00-17:30 Monday-Friday

Salary: 30,000-35,000 per annum DOE

Benefits: Annual Bonus, Profit share scheme, 21 days holiday growing 1 day per year up to 25, Private medical insurance, life insurance 6x salary, Free lunch, Enhanced Maternity/Paternity pay, 12% pension contribution

Candidates must have:

  • Experience working in a similar Stores/inventory controller role
  • Previous Manufacturing experience
  • Experience using ERP systems
  • Willingness to learn and take on board training
  • To be able to work independently
  • The ability to take on extra responsibility and offer continuous improvement
  • Strong verbal and written communications
  • A good understanding of health and safety

What you will be doing:

  • Booking goods in & out
  • Managing inventory levels against company targets
  • Assembling materials and dispensing stock to production areas
  • Stock audits
  • Inputting all data into ERP systems
  • Working closing with supply chain department
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal team to achieve targets are met
  • Picking and packing orders ready for shipment
