About the Role

We are working with a leading billion-pound civil engineering contractor seeking a Site Engineer to join their expanding infrastructure division. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on multi-million-pound flagship highways and earthworks projects in Rugby and Towcester.

You'll join a business known for delivering some of the most complex and high-profile infrastructure schemes in the UK with a strong focus on innovation, safety, and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the day-to-day engineering of large-scale earthworks and highways sites

  • Set out, level, and survey the site using GPS and total stations

  • Ensure that all materials, work, and site activities comply with technical drawings and specifications

  • Liaise with subcontractors, supervisors, and the design team

  • Maintain accurate records including QA checks, as-builts, and site diaries

  • Support the site management team in health & safety, risk assessments, and method statements

Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

  • Previous experience working on earthworks, highways, or heavy civils sites

  • Proficiency in setting out using GPS/robotic total stations

  • Strong understanding of site health & safety practices

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Full UK driving licence
