About the Role
We're seeking a passionate and driven Reliability Engineer to join our high-performing engineering team within a fast-paced FMCG food and liquid processing environment.
You'll play a key role in driving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and embedding world-class maintenance practices across our operation.
This is a hands-on, site-based position focused on continuous improvement, asset care, and best-practice implementation to ensure our production lines perform at their peak - every shift, every day.
Key Responsibilities
Lead reliability initiatives to improve plant performance and reduce unplanned downtime.
Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies (RCM, TPM, CBM).
Support the engineering and operations teams with root cause analysis and long-term corrective actions.
Drive continuous improvement projects to optimise OEE, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Maintain and improve asset management systems, ensuring accurate data and compliance with engineering standards.
Lead critical asset care reviews, maintenance scheduling, and performance tracking.
Champion best practices in engineering safety, sustainability, and reliability.
Collaborate closely with production, maintenance, and technical teams to foster a reliability-focused culture.
About You
Degree or HNC/HND in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar).
Proven experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or food/liquid processing environment.
Strong background in reliability engineering, maintenance planning, or continuous improvement.
Familiarity with reliability tools (FMEA, RCA, Pareto, CMMS systems).
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
