Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for keeping vital utilities running smoothly in a fast-paced manufacturing setting?
We are currently seeking a Site Services Engineer to join our engineering team at a leading food manufacturing facility. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of key site utilities, including compressors, pumps, and ammonia refrigeration systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and troubleshoot site utilities equipment (compressors, pumps, chillers, boilers, HVAC, ammonia systems, etc.)
Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks
Support engineering improvements and efficiency projects
Monitor and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
Work closely with the wider engineering and production teams to minimise downtime
About You:
Recognised engineering qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-skilled)
Proven experience in a similar role within food manufacturing or a regulated production environment
Strong working knowledge of compressors, pumps, and ammonia refrigeration systems (ammonia handling certification is a plus)
Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Working Hours:
4 4on 4off days and nights
