Rubicon Consultingis currently recruiting for a Mechanical Assembler on a 3 month rolling contract based in Rugby.
Role Summary
Responsible for the precision assembly of aerospace mechanical components and sub-assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. Duties include fitting, torquing, and aligning components, using hand tools, jigs, and fixtures, completing in-process inspections, and accurately recording build data. Works to strict safety, quality, and delivery targets within a regulated manufacturing environment, supporting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices.
Requirements
Current and active Crane license desired
HEAVY INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE - Aerospace, Shipbuilding, Heavy Engineering and cvPlant Assembly.
Experience with a crane license is to review revised loads.
