Position: Associate Town Planner

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior planners, architects, and stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive town planning strategies.
  • Conduct research and analysis on zoning regulations, land use policies, and environmental impact assessments.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications, ensuring compliance with local and national planning policies.
  • Engage with the community through public consultations, addressing concerns, and incorporating feedback into planning proposals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to contribute to innovative planning solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Architecture, or a related field.
  • A proven track record in town planning or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of local planning regulations and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in GIS, AutoCAD, or other planning software is a plus.
  • Membership in relevant professional organisations is desirable.
