Town Planner (3-5 Years' Experience) - Strategic Land

Up to 45,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

Location: Rugby, Warwickshire (easily commutable from Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, Coventry)
Package: 45,000 basic + car allowance + bonus scheme + private medical + excellent benefits
Type: Maternity Cover (with long-term potential due to continued business growth)
Sector: Strategic Land Promotion - Background in Consultancy or Housebuilding preferred

A well-established and growing strategic land promoter is seeking a talented Town Planner with 3 to 5 years' experience to join their planning team during an exciting period of expansion.

This role initially covers a maternity leave starting in September, but due to a significant recent acquisition and a resulting increase in project workload, this position is expected to play a key role in the team for the foreseeable future.

The company is known for its expertise in unlocking large-scale strategic land opportunities, working collaboratively with landowners and local stakeholders to deliver sustainable, community-focused developments.



Candidate Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a planning role within a consultancy or housebuilding environment

  • Strong understanding of the UK planning system, ideally with exposure to strategic land

  • Confident communicator with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Interest in long-term land promotion and infrastructure-led development

  • Must be comfortable working from the Rugby office and attending regular in-person meetings
