Are you a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias looking to join a fast-paced and dynamic environment? We are working with a leading FMCG food manufacturer in Rugby who are looking to expand their engineering team with a skilled and motivated individual.
Role Overview:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of high-speed production lines, with a focus on preventative maintenance (PPM) and swift resolution of breakdowns to minimise downtime. You'll work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain and improve equipment efficiency.
Shift Pattern:
4 on 4 off rotation
Days & Nights (12-hour shifts)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform PPM tasks in line with schedules to minimise breakdowns
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical faults across production equipment
Work proactively to identify improvements and support continuous improvement projects
Maintain accurate maintenance records and support audits and compliance
Support installations, upgrades, and commissioning of new machinery
About You:
Apprenticeship trained with NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Strong electrical bias with proven multi-skilled capabilities
Experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment is essential
Comfortable working with PLCs, motors, conveyors, sensors, and packaging machinery
A proactive team player with strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
