Are you a highly organised and proactive administrator looking for a varied and impactful role? This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy manufacturing site and provide essential support to the Plant Manager and Senior Leadership Team.
This fixed-term position offers a chance to make a real difference in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities spanning administration, supplier coordination, health & safety support, and employee engagement. Contract length is expected to be 9-12 months.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing professional administrative support to the Plant Manager and senior team
- Coordinating meetings, tracking actions, and managing communications across the site
- Managing site facilities, contractors, and supplier relationships
- Supporting health & safety initiatives, including inductions, permit tracking, and reporting
- Leading internal communications and acting as the site's communication champion
- Organising employee events, competitions, and recognition schemes
- Handling onboarding logistics and supporting HR processes
- Maintaining systems for uniforms, PPE, car park permits, and visitor management
- Creating purchase orders and managing hospitality arrangements
What You'll Bring:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior administrative role
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- Experience in event planning and corporate communications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Financial awareness and confidence in managing budgets and suppliers
