Sheet Metal Worker
Location: Rugby
Shifts: Days
Salary: £14 to £17.50 per hour Dependent on Experience
Responsibilities:- Assemble and fabricate metal components according to blueprints and specifications- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces- Perform basic mathematical calculations to ensure accurate measurements and dimensions- Operate machinery and tooling necessary for metalworking processes- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:- Previous experience in metalworking or a related field is preferred- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metalworking processes- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication techniques- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
