EYFS - Year 2 Class Teacher, Rugby, September start, part-time job.

A wonderful village school based in Rugby requires a class teacher from September until the end of the academic year. This role is permanent, but they may consider temporary to permanent - ECTs are welcome to apply.This is a 2-form entry school and therefore planning will be shared amongst across your specific year group. They would like the successful candidate to be empathetic, understanding, and indeed a team player.This is a part-time role. Your working days will be Wednesday PM only, Thursday and Friday all day, both days.In addition to planning educational, fun and creative lessons, you will also be responsible for logging pupil progress, undertaking parents' evenings, writing end-of-year reports and attending staff meetings.If you would prefer a full-time job, you could top up your week with day-to-day supply.What you'll need to succeed

  • To be a successful teacher, you must have good knowledge of the primary school EYFS and KS1 National Curriculum.
  • You should be able to adapt to different teaching methods and environments and be confident in doing so.
  • You must have experience teaching within the last 5 years in the teaching industry and hold a QTS, PGCE or ECT.
