We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to contribute to a high-performing and aspirational department. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging mathematics teaching, supporting colleagues, and driving progress across the subject area. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver well-structured mathematics lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Use a wide range of teaching approaches to promote engagement, curiosity, and strong understanding.
- Set meaningful work, mark effectively and provide high-quality feedback that supports sustained progress.
- Maintain positive behaviour for learning by following agreed systems and routines.
- Promote literacy, numeracy, and transferable learning skills within maths lessons.
- Prepare students for internal and external assessments, ensuring accurate and timely completion of requirements.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (or working towards completion as an ECT).
- Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
- Ability to deliver high-quality lessons that promote progress for all learners.
- Effective communication and organisation skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
