Sheet Metal Worker
Location: Rugby
Shifts: Days
Salary: 14 to 17.50 per hour Dependent on Experience
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and fabricate metal components according to blueprints and specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces
- Perform basic mathematical calculations to ensure accurate measurements and dimensions
- Operate machinery and tooling necessary for metalworking processes
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in metalworking or a related field is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metalworking processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication techniques
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
