Job description:
The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Rugby area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Shunter Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team on a adhoc basis.
You MUST hold a valid CPC license for this role.
Hours:Days available, 12hr shifts. 05.45am - 17.45pm
Pay Rate:
17.76 - 21.63 Per hour

Job Type: Ongoing position.
The role:
Perform shunting of trailers within the yard to ensure efficient operations.
Safely maneuver vehicles in tight and busy spaces.
Conduct pre and post operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures.
Coordinate with the yard and dispatch teams to maintain seamless workflow.
Report any defects or issues promptly to the maintenance team.
Maintain accurate records of shunting activities and vehicle movements.
Assist with other yard duties as needed.
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only)
Full understanding of WTD legislation.
Excellent communication skills.
