About the Role
As an Electrical/Mechanical Operator, you'll play a key role in the assembly, testing, and maintenance of high-performance laser systems. Key Responsibilities
- You will need to be able to carry out soldering and crimping
- Assemble and wire complex electro-mechanical systems to engineering specifications
- Perform mechanical fitting, soldering, and cable routing
- Conduct functional testing and fault-finding on laser systems
- Maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness in a cleanroom environment
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in an electrical or mechanical assembly role (ideally in a high-tech or precision environment)
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset
Desirable Qualifications
- ONC/HNC or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering
- Experience with laser systems or optical assemblies (a plus, not essential)
