Days Mon – Fri (8am – 4:30pm, 8am – 3:30pm) – 1 Weekend in 7 on call

We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join our long standing successful team of engineers at a heavy manufacturing facility in Rugby!

Role and Responsibilities
- The role is a largely hands off role, roughly 80% hands off with 20% hands on work when getting involved on major breakdowns.
- Taking the lead on suggestions for major mechanical improvements across the site
- Delegate day to day working responsibilities
- Manage and monitor performance of existing engineering staff and contractors including issuing permits to work.
- Ensuring health and safety compliance and adherence across the site.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a maintenance team lead/supervisor/manager in an industrial environment
- Minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a mechanical maintenance disclipline – Essential for this role
- Ability to work in a heavy plant environment – Previous experience not essential
- Strong communication skills
