We are currently looking for Press Brake Operators to join our client, a UK leading provider of sheet metal engineering and fabrication services located inHixon, Staffordshire. These roles arelong-term opportunities. Immediate start dates are available.
Press Brake Operator key job details:
- Nights: 18.00-06.00, 4on4off
- Starting rates between 15.26 to 18.56ph (DOE)
- Long-term work
Press Brake Operatorkey responsibilities:
- Working with Amada press machinery
- Manual folding of items up to 10mm thick and up to 4m wide
- Measure product to ensure quality finish
- Set machine for required works
- Manual handling and movement of stock
- Complying with Health & Safety standards
Press Brake Operator person specification:
- Previous experience of operating an Amada press would be ideal, but we are accepting other press brake machinery experience
- Having the ability to read engineering drawings would be preferential
- Ability to use measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Good English (reading / verbal) required
- Own transport is essential
