We’re recruiting for a respected and well-established accountancy firm in Ruislip with a dedicated tax department, offering an excellent opportunity for a Tax Senior to join their friendly, close-knit team.

Role Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit Self-Assessment Tax Returns
  • Manage a mixed portfolio of clients and build trusted relationships
  • Meet, call, and correspond with clients regularly
  • Support directors with advisory projects and planning work
  • Prepare Capital Gains Tax (CGT) computations and submit UK Property Returns
  • Assist clients in setting up and using the HMRC CGT on UK Property Service
  • Prepare Property Rental Accounts and Income & Expenditure statements for sole traders
  • Complete and submit P11Ds, VAT Returns, ATED Returns, and simple Trust Tax Returns
  • Support clients with HMRC’s Trust Registration Service and help maintain Registers
  • Prepare and submit client invoices
  • Contribute to team development by mentoring junior staff
  • Gain exposure to inheritance tax (IHT) and estate planning

Candidate Requirements
  • ATT qualified preferred (CTA qualification considered)
  • Experience in managing your own tax portfolio within a UK accountancy practice
  • Ability to prioritise and meet multiple deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with CCH tax software is desirable (training provided if needed)
  • Organised, self-motivated, and client-focused
