Ignata Finance are partnering a profitable SME located in Ruislip for the recruitment of a Financial Accountant on a contract basis for 6 months This is a highly varied position which combines commercial finance as well as people management. Reporting to the FD you will form part of the management team and will attend senior meetings making contributions to key business decisions. You will be a hands-on individual who is happy to get involved with the detail and you must be willing to take on the challenges faced within an SME.You will need to be immediately available or on a short notice period.  Key Responsibilities  
  • Produce monthly and year-end accounts (multiple entities)
  • Daily cash management , maintenance of the cashflow spreadsheets to provide real-time information to the Finance Director
  • Prepare cashflow forecasts and budgets
  • Daily management of banking and supplier payments.
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all key accounts
  • Manage the external audit process and respond to audit questions
  • Management of stock reconciliations
  • Review draft statutory accounts to trial balances
  • Preparation of disclosure notes and information for tax computations
  • Maintain control over management accounts' opening balances
  • Administer payroll, including computations and pension submissions
  • Perform weekly and monthly multi-currency bank reconciliations
  • Create and manage sales invoices and purchase orders
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Supervision of 2 staff
  • Support senior staff with ad hoc duties
