About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Parts Advisor to join our team at Excel Industrial. If you have over 5 years of experience in the parts industry and are seeking a new opportunity, we want to hear from you!

As a Parts Advisor, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service, managing parts inventory, and assisting with the smooth operation of the parts department. This is a full-time position with a competitive pay rate of £16.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice to customers on parts and accessories for their vehicles.
  • Accurately manage orders, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to customers.
  • Handle stock management, including receiving, storing, and inventory control.
  • Process customer orders and ensure all parts are delivered in excellent condition and on time.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely parts availability.
  • Keep accurate records of stock levels and sales transactions.
  • Offer additional parts and accessories where applicable to meet customers’ needs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in parts advising or a similar role, preferably within the automotive or industrial sectors.
  • Excellent knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently both individually and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills, particularly in inventory management systems.
  • A proactive and positive attitude with a passion for providing top-tier customer service.
