We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-respected and growing accountancy practice in Ruislip, offering an excellent opportunity for a Tax Manager or experienced Tax Senior to join a dedicated tax department and manage a varied portfolio.

Role Responsibilities
  • Managing a varied tax portfolio with autonomy and accountability
  • Preparing and submitting Self-Assessment Tax Returns
  • Liaising directly with clients via meetings, calls, and written correspondence
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members
  • Preparing CGT computations and submitting CGT on UK Property Returns
  • Creating Property Rental Accounts and Income & Expenditure statements for sole traders
  • Completing and filing P11Ds, ATED Returns, simple VAT Returns, and Trust Tax Returns
  • Assisting clients in using the HMRC Trust Registration Service and CGT on UK Property platforms
  • Invoicing clients and assisting with new business opportunities
  • Gaining exposure to Inheritance Tax (IHT) and estate planning assignments

Candidate Requirements
  • Ideally ATT qualified (CTA would be an advantage)
  • Proven experience managing your own portfolio in a practice environment
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for dealing with a varied client base
  • Sound IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Familiarity with CCH tax software is desirable (training provided if needed)
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a client-first attitude
