Role Overview

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will lead the cost management and contractual aspects of projects, providing expertise and guidance to ensure successful project delivery. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quantity surveying, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion. Senior Quantity Surveyors play a crucial role in maximizing project profitability while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, construction management, or a related field.
  • NEC experience working for a UK Main Contractor in Civil Engineering.
  • Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS/CICES) is essential.
  • Extensive experience in quantity surveying, including proven track record of managing complex construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost management principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and make informed decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
