About the Food Technologist job

The purpose of your role will be to support site due diligence in producing safe, legal, authentic, and quality food through managing all aspects of technical administration.

Key tasks

  • Generate, review, and approve product and supplier specifications, ensuring all meet legal and customer requirements and are maintained according to schedule.
  • Evaluate and maintain supplier approvals, conduct risk assessments, and identify audit needs in collaboration with the Technical Manager.
  • Manage the complaints system, including logging, investigation, and response, while also generating pack copies and supporting artwork sign-off.
  • Assist with legal and customer guidance on labelling and nutrition, monitor food alerts, and support audits and site visits, including BRCGS and EHO.

About You

  • The successful candidate shall have 3+ years’ experience with specification writing and artwork process.
  • High levels of attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

More details

The Food Technologist job (ref:8907) is paying £30,000 - £35,000 according to your experience.

The site is in Cheshire and is commutable from Warrington, Liverpool, Runcorn and Chester and surrounding areas.

The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
