Account Manager

Location: Runcorn, Sutton Weaver (Office Based)

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 Commission (uncapped)

We’re looking for a driven and customer-focused Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be the key link between our company and an assigned portfolio of clients - building relationships, maximising sales opportunities, and ensuring every customer receives an exceptional experience.

About the Role

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for nurturing existing accounts, identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and proactively managing customer needs. You’ll process orders, liaise with logistics to ensure timely delivery, and act as the first point of contact for enquiries and issues, resolving them quickly and effectively.

Your role will also involve spotting growth opportunities within your accounts, engaging with potential new customers, and working closely with the sales, marketing, and logistics teams to meet company targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to deliver outstanding customer service and retention
  • Identify and action upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Process customer orders and coordinate with logistics for on-time delivery
  • Respond to inbound calls, emails, and live chat enquiries promptly
  • Provide regular reports on account performance, sales growth, and customer feedback
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and service improvements
About You
  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or customer service
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong organisational ability and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (experience with Pipedrive/Sage is a plus)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A customer-first mindset and proactive problem-solving approach
