Role:Are you a Chemistry Graduate with solid experience in Sales or Business Development? If so, our client, an international chemicals manufacturer, wants to speak to you!

They are looking to recruit a motivated Sales or Business Development Executive to join their expanding business. With a minimum of 2 years’ experience of technical sales within the chemical industry (or similar highly regulated industry) you will initially be office based focusing on internal technical sales and account management to get familiar with the product range and existing customers, transitioning into a business development role over 3 - 6 months with a UK and Europe wide remit.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business opportunities
  • Represent the company at exhibitions and industry events
  • Manage and grow customer base
  • Maintain customer communication
  • Support marketing efforts
  • Handle technical enquiries

The person:

  • BSc or equivalent in Chemistry or a related subject is essential for this role
  • 2+ years in technical sales, account management or business development
  • Ideally have previously worked in a Chemical manufacturing environment
  • Highly organised and self-motivated
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools
  • Experience with SAP is desirable
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the UK and Europe
