We are currently seeking an experienced **Data Engineer** to lead the migration of an existing data platform to **Microsoft Fabric**. This short-term contract is ideal for a candidate with strong **SQL development skills** and proven experience in delivering **cloud-based data solutions**.

**Key Responsibilities**
  • Lead the migration of an existing data platform to **Microsoft Fabric** or Similar Azure tools

  • Build and optimise **ETL pipelines** using SQL and Spark

  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across the migration

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align technical delivery with business needs

  • Provide technical input on Fabric's architecture and capabilities

? **What You'll Need**
  • Strong hands-on experience with **Microsoft Fabric** and Azure data tools

  • Solid **SQL development skills** (T-SQL, PL/SQL, or similar)

  • Experience with **data platform migrations** and pipeline modernisation

  • Knowledge of Spark or Databricks (bonus if familiar with Python)

  • Able to work independently and deliver to tight timelines

  • Willingness to be **on-site 1 day per week in Widnes**
