Then reach out! Kingston Barnes is now recruiting an exciting position for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for one of our clients working within the Runcorn area.

The Company:

A leading manufacturer in the FMCG industry, supplying their products to multiple manufacturers. By building a great reputation not only through their products but going above and beyond the ethical standard this company stands out from the rest. With their consistent demand and great reputation across the UK, this company is looking to expand their team.

The Role:

You will be responsible for carrying out routine reactive and planned maintenance of the manufacturing plant. You also will be expected to resolve any process issues that may arise and cannot be solved by the operators or need special technical assistance.

You will be required to undertake electrical and mechanical maintenance on production machinery to ensure the smooth running of the manufacturing process, cost-effectively whilst meeting strict Health and Safety standards.

Experience/Qualifications

  • HNC, City & Guilds or time served apprentice with appropriate engineering qualifications.
  • Experience within a similar role ideally gained within a food manufacturing environment, if not food, experience within any manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
  • Electrically or biased, or multi-skilled.
  • PLC experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience of SAP is desirable.

Hours of work –

This is a permanent, full-time position operating on early and late shifts from Monday to Friday.

Alternation between 5.30am - 1.30pm & 1.15pm - 9.15pm, with 1 hour less on Friday 5.30am - 12.30pm & 12.15pm - 7.15pm.

Package:

  • Salary Up to £43,000
  • Holiday – 25 + Banks
  • Overtime – Over-time will be available. Saturday (x1.5) or Sunday (x2) is 8 or 10 hours.
  • Pension – Pension matched up to 10%
  • Benefits – Life Assurance 6 x salary + Employee Benefits.
