Sonic Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Designer for a permanent position near Runcorn.
The ideal candidate should have experience in a process industry environment, although other industries may be considered.
The salary for this role is approximately £30,000 to £38,000 per annum, in addition to holidays and a pension plan.
Key responsibilities include creating detailed 3D models, General Arrangement drawings, and various mechanical and electrical drawings.
Candidates should have experience with 3D AutoCAD, and while knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D is preferred, full training will be provided.

Our client is looking for someone who has previous experience of working in a process industry environment, but will consider other industries.

Salary is c30-38,000 per annum plus holidays, pension etc.

Duties for the Mechanical Designer:

Working with engineers and designers to create detailed 3D models and General Arrangement (GA) drawings for water companies.
Producing various mechanical drawings: General Arrangements, P&IDs, and Isometrics.
Creating electrical drawings, such as Single Line Diagrams and Cable Blocks.
Understanding the design requirements and making sure all technical details are correct.
Learning and applying relevant industry standards.

Skills/Experience:

3D AutoCAD - any knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D will be prefered, but full training will be given.
