About the Role:
As a Kitchen Assistant, you'll play a key role in helping deliver nutritious and tasty meals to a diverse group of individuals. You'll contribute to maintaining a clean, efficient kitchen and support the wider team in ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and cooking of meals in line with the daily menu.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Help with serving food and beverages.
- Support the kitchen team with general duties to ensure efficient service.
- Ensure food is stored safely and in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Assist with stock rotation and inventory management.
What We're Looking For:
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is beneficial but not essential.
- An in-date Enhanced DBS is required for this role.
