Hays are working in partnership with a Runcorn-based primary school to recruit an EYFS teacher to join their dedicated team. You will have full teaching roles and responsibilities and have strong working relationships with both staff and children.

Your new company.
You will be working for a community-based primary school who pride themselves on inclusion and supporting children in all aspects of development in the EYFS framework.
Your new school sets high expectations for all and are looking for someone who will immerse themselves in their ethos, values, and school community. The school is near the centre of town and has a wonderful and supportive SLT department. The schools have excellent behaviour management policies and practices and are looking for someone to stay with them for the rest of the academic year into September 2025 term. They pride themselves on providing exploration and giving enrichment opportunities to pupils. The Head teacher welcomes ECT's and experienced teachers to apply, and they have part-time and full-time roles available.

Your new role.
You will be expected to undertake and fully immerse yourself in the day-to-day aspects of class teaching. You will be required to effectively communicate with the teaching staff and lead by example, in terms of setting high expectations for students. You will be expected to formulate a good understanding of the requirements of your class from an early stage and use Quality First Teaching Methods to engage and support pupils. You will also be expected to utilise available resources to provide maximum impact on pupil learning and development. You may also be expected to help and guide pupils in their transition to KS1. The EYFS provision is resourceful and has a dedicated team who help children prosper in EYFS and build a framework for life-long learning.
What you will need to succeed.
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you:

  • Be a dynamic team player.
  • Committed to working as part of a close-knit teaching and support team.
  • Be fun, enthusiastic, and proactive.
  • The ability to provide high-quality teaching and learning in a nurturing setting.
  • DBS on update service is preferred but not essential.
  • QTS or teaching qualification.
