Our client is offering an exceptional opportunity to join their team as the Head of Digital Transformation. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, enhancing operational efficiency, and improving patient care through technology.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a future-focused digital transformation strategy aligned to corporate and system-wide objectives.
  • Provide senior leadership on digital matters to executives, the board, and key partners.
  • Lead a portfolio of digital programmes, ensuring best practice in programme governance, risk, and benefits realisation.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, IT, and patient stakeholders to co-design digital services.
  • Inspire, lead, and grow a high-performing digital transformation team.
  • Drive digital capability and literacy across all departments.
  • Ensure all digital programmes comply with information governance, cyber security, and clinical safety standards.
  • Provide transparent reporting on performance, risks, and outcomes to leadership and assurance committees.
  • Foster a learning culture that supports colleagues to innovate, adapt, and grow.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Significant experience in digital transformation and programme delivery.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience and a deep understanding of the critical role digital transformation plays in the success of programme and project delivery.
  • Experience in designing and delivering digital strategies and initiatives.
  • Familiarity with healthcare/public sector environments.
  • Experience with Agile, Lean, and human-centred design methodologies.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and platforms (e.g., AI, EPRs, interoperability).
  • Empathetic, considerate, and supportive approach to change.
  • Ability to build and maintain trusted and effective relationships at senior levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, both direct and indirect, suitable for a wide cross-section of stakeholders.
  • Ability to select and utilise a range of digital transformation tools and methodologies that match the project/programme needs.
  • Ability to plan and manage major new projects or significant new activities.
  • Commitment to professional integrity and confidentiality.
