Role: -Regulatory Affairs Manager- NutraceuticalsLocation: -Runcorn Salary & Benefits: -£50-55,000 per annum, Company Pension (5% Employer, 4% minimum employee), 25 days holidays plus bank holidays (increase with service), life assurance, cycle to work scheme, discretionary bonus, parking and early finish on a Friday.Working Hours: -Monday-Thursday 08:00-17:00PM, Friday 08:00-13:00PMRussell-Taylor Group have a fantastic opportunity for a Regulatory Affairs Manager to join a fantastic nutraceutical manufacturing company who are going through a track record of growth currently and have plans to continue the expansion.The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in supplement regulations, and a solid understanding of product labelling, claims substantiation, and ingredient compliance. However, other regulated environments such as the pharmaceutical industry will also be considered. Responsibilities • Ensure that products are legally compliant and meet customers quality and regulatory expectations.• Assess new materials and components for their compliance to regulatory standards. • Part of a small department but will be responsible for the development of team members and the department.• Risk assess new legislation against current products and materials and ensure that you stay on top of new and upcoming legislation. • Participate in Procedure Qualification Reports. • Manage and facilitate licence and batch specific variation processes.• Ensure supplier documentation is always maintained and kept up to date.• Engage with customers - dealing with any issues, concerns and further opportunities that they may have.• Take part in regulatory meetings and industry body groups.• Be the main point of contact for the business for all things regulatory.The Person• Educated to degree level or equivalent in a Science based subject. • Previous industrial based experience within a regulatory role is essential - ideally Nutraceuticals, but also food, pharma or medical devices would be considered. • Some line management experience would be preferred. • In depth knowledge of regulatory standards.• Ability to work independently, but also to guide a small team and help the business to continue their growth.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proactive approach to problem solving.Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
