Job Summary:The Quality Assurance Specialist ensures all food products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This role involves monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, and implementing quality control measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality control procedures.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance protocols and SOPs.
  • Perform routine testing and analysis of products.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and other quality-related activities.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP, ISO standards).
  • Train and educate staff on quality assurance practices.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and assist with audit reports.
  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control principles.
